You're TEA-riffic!

I created an envelope for the swap taking place on the Roc Nicholas Facebook page. I used http://www.stampotique.com/stamp/roc-nicholas/2420.html.... and a punny sentiment using letters from her Unleash Yourself stamp.

I'm also entering this in the Stampotique Punny Project Challenge.

Word of the Year!

My word this year is BALANCE. I've been working a lot of hours, so I feel that I need to balance my home life and my work life better. Also the running assessment that I took at the end of last year said that I need to work on my physical balance. So, BALANCE it is!

I added some cute little birds from the Stampotiqe "Birdie Up" stamp set to jazz it up.
I'm entering this in the Stampotique New Year's Resolution Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by!

Colors colors colors!!!

Today I'm sharing an envelope that I created for the Color Splash Challenge at the Stampotique blog.

I used lots of bright spray color, collage and the cute Line Up stamp. I love those cute little critters.

Thanks for looking!

I've joined a challenge to post 4 pics on the 4th of every month. I missed the 4th by a few days, but here are my pics. This is a great chance to share all those miscellaneous pics that I take throughout the month.

Happy Birthday Cheryl!

Cheryl is 25 years old TODAY!!!... and in keeping with the blog tradition, we flash back 20 years ago to 5 year old Cheryl.

It was full of bicycle wheels:

A new baby cousin:

And playing with her brother:

(I had to throw in one embarrassing picture. {grin} )

And a multi-year love of SOCCER!

Extra special Birthday wishes to my special girlie!

Birthday Card

Here is the birthday card that I made for Cheryl.
I used a couple of my favorite PTI stamp sets and some great basic digital paper from Carina Gardner. I printed the paper out on a piece of cardstock and stamped away!

I'm entering it into a couple of challenges:

Christmas time is here....

Happiness and cheer...

Fun for all that children call
Their favorite time of the year...

Snowflakes in the air
Carols everywhere...

Olden times and ancient rhymes
Of love and dreams to share...

Sleigh bells in the air
Beauty everywhere...

Yuletide by the fireside
And joyful memories there...

Christmas time is here
We'll be drawing near...

Oh, that we could always see
Such spirit through the year...

Merry Christmas, All!!!

Edgar Allan Poe

I always thought of Edgar Allan Poe as a creepy author, as in "The Raven." But little did I know that Poe had a romantic, dreamy side. Here is a card that I made using a quote from Edgar Allan Poe for a challenge over at Stampotique Designers Challenge and Quoth the Raven.

I used the cute Feline stamp by Roc Nicholas.
Thanks for looking, and have a great weekend!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Here we have my first oven baked turkey. Thanks to google, I learned how to prepare, truss, bake and tent a turkey.

I wonder how many other Thanksgiving meals were a success thanks to google...

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with family and friends!!!
