A new class kicked this month over at Altenew Academy. The class is called 3D Floral Focus and is being taught by the very talented Therese Calvird. Here is my card from the class using the Fantasy Floral Die.

This card combines the 3D dies with flower stamps. I love the dimension that it gives the card!

Altenew 3D Floral Focus 3

A new class kicked off today over at Altenew Academy. The class is called 3D Floral Focus and is being taught by the very talented Therese Calvird. Here is my third card from the class using the Rose Flurries 3D Die.

The layers of the rose die are inset into the design making the bookmark completely flat. My initials are also inset into the bookmark. No more bulky bookmarks, YAY! This was a super fun technique to try!

PTI Color Pop Challenge

This challenge involves a color picker...

Pick a number: 5
Move the picker 5 times and the color over my left thumb is my first color
SIMPLY CHARTRUSE
Flip 11 times - November
open flap on the left to get the next two colors
SPRING RAIN - BLUEBERRY SKY

These aren't colors that I would have picked... kind if too monochromatic for me, but I really like how it came out.

I used the PTI Enjoy frame die cut, and Beautiful Blooms stamp set and dies.

PTI Birthday

Today's challenge was to grab all our supplies within 5 minutes. Well, if I'm going to do that, I have to know exactly what I'm going to create and use familiar tried and true supplies.

I grabbed my go-to PTI Star Prints stamps, Think Big birthday stamps, and one of my favorite BG 6x6 paper pads...
And this is what I created

I timed myself and it took me 15 minutes to finish this card, but to my defense I didn't stop the timer when the Girl Scout came to the door.

So in 15 minutes, I have a fun birthday card and two boxes of Thin Mints :oD

PTI Birthday

This PTI Birthday challenge is to gain inspiration from clothing. All of my clothes  are pretty boring... Mostly solids, so I went cruising online and found this dress from Banana Republic.

And here is my card

I used the Happiness in Bloom stamp set, the Wonderful Word Thank- you die, and PTI card stock.

Thanks for stopping by!

PTI Make it Monday

The theme this week was ombré valentines. I was thinking of doing a guy version, but since I didn't have a Love die, I went with HAPPY. Since I went with HAPPY, it evolved into a happy birthday card. I used watercolor crayons since I don't have gelatos, but I like how it came out.

PTI supplies used:
   Cardstock

PTI Release Week Inspiration

I'm a BIG follower of the PTI release week. They have a super talented design team, and I LOVE looking at their creations. This month PTI is giving us a chance to play along by using one of the DT creations as inspiration.

I fell in love with this creation by Nicole Heady:
