PTI MIM

This weeks challenge was to create a card with water color script.
Here is my card:

The script stamp and sentiment are from a set called Super Scrpt 2 from Altenew. I also used the Embroidered Blooms stamp set from PTI for the flowers.

I really like this technique since the water color evens out my uneven stamping.

PTI Blog Hop

The theme challenge for the PTI Blog Hop this month is "stitching." I have PTI's Embroidered Blooms stamp set. It's one of my favorite flower stamp sets!

It's a bolder color scheme than I'm used to using, but I really like how it came out.

PTI Release Create with Us

I have such a hard time with guy cards. When I saw the beautiful black and gold card created by Maile Belles, I knew I had to lift it for my stash.

PTI MIM

I'm on a card making roll. Another card today using the PTI Make it Monday technique challenge. This week's technique is for ombré stenciled backgrounds. Here's my card:

This was a very fun technique, and I really like how the background came out. Then I added white embossing powder and black ink to the foreground to give it some pop.

I used:
PTI Wet Paint stamps
PTI Embroidered Blooms stamps
Crafters Workshop stencil

PTI Blog Challenge

I must say that pink and green is one of my least favorite color combinations, but I like the way this one came out. I used stacked plates to get the butterfly embossed on the background. I always wanted to try that technique.

PTI products used:
Heeling Touch Sentiments
Aida Embossing plate
Beautiful Butterfly Layers stamps
Beautiful Butterfly Layers dies
White card stock

Altenew February challenge

I took a class by Altenew at CHA and fell in love with their layered flower stamps. The class didn't offer freebie sets, so I had to go buy my own. I chose the stamp set called Golden Garden with matching dies and another one called Super Script. I love the bold mod look and these flowers and sentiments make it easy to whip up a quick tag.

PTI Release Challenge

The last challenge was to use the first three layers of your name to create a project. This was a perfect simple project for a last minute Valentine's tag for my mom. My name challenge came out like this:

J - jewels
O - ombré
N - something new

And here is my tag:

I used my new PTI tag die and PTI Scribble Circles stamp.

PTI Thank-you

My last card that I'm sharing today is a thank-you card.

This is a nice flat card since it's going in the mail today to PTI. And of course there is a matching envelope. :oD

I used an old PTI stamp set called Bird Watching. I also used Wonderful Words:Thank-you and Circle Scrbbles.
