Good-bye Summer...

It was 104F just 3 days ago! Two days ago the power went out in the SDGE district that goes from Arizona, San Diego County, Riverside County, and south Orange County. It was a whole day before some people got power back. We weren't effected, because we are right on the edge of the SCE district. The next housing track over and south all lost power. It made terrible driving around here Thursday night!!!

So we went from crazy HEAT to HAIL in one day! Yep, thunder, lightning, rain and hail! Not a lot, but what crazy weather!

Well, I'll leave today with a crafty post. This card is for a friend who is recovering from chemo. I this cute stamp and saying from Unity Stamp Company always makes me smile.

I hosted bunco last night and have taken this whole week to get ready for it. Look for the trip recap to resume next week!

    Now that is some crazy weather!!! Maybe it will cool down a little now. As for the card, that is super cute! I just love that saying and can see why it makes you smile.

    Joni that is CRAZY weather! ours has been odd too.. we had our hottest day of the YEAR on Saturday! now it is 60! ha ha! Your card is LOVELY I am sure your friend will enjoy it!!
    WHAT did you make for bunco?!! :) Mine is next month and I am already thinking about it! :)

    that is a lovely card! we went through the same here..high 30's on the weekend.. 2 the next day!!! what the heck?!? It's been cold since Monday! :(
