Edgar Allan Poe

I always thought of Edgar Allan Poe as a creepy author, as in "The Raven." But little did I know that Poe had a romantic, dreamy side. Here is a card that I made using a quote from Edgar Allan Poe for a challenge over at Stampotique Designers Challenge and Quoth the Raven.

I used the cute Feline stamp by Roc Nicholas.
Thanks for looking, and have a great weekend!

Christmas tag

Here is a little Christmas tag using a red rubber stamp from Unity Stamps. I've had these stamps for a long time and this is the first time that I used them. They are cute. I cut the card and added a contrasting color behind adding some interesting stripes.

I'm entering this in the SDC174: Striped Backgrounds challenge at Stampotque.
Thanks for stopping by!

Christmas tag

Here is a little Christmas tag using a red rubber stamp from C.C. Stamps. I added some stickles and bling to make it shine! I'm surprised at how clear the little JOY tag is... I can barely tell that it is a tag in the picture.

I'm entering this in the SDC173: Bling it Out challenge at Stampotque.

August Card Kit Reveal

Welcome to the Club Mojo August card kit reveal! We have 10 ladies in the club this year!!! These are all wonderful ladies who I've had the good fortune to meet at Scrappin' Mojo.

It's time for our Club reveal, and this month's card kit was put together by Mary!

This month I used the card kit for a little collage for the Art of Wild Abandonment class. The instructor's collage had her laundry flying away... that's not my style. I don't let my laundry fly away, I CONQUER it!

My second project is a gift bag. Beth turned us on to these super embellished bags. I decided to try it and decided that it's not my style.

That's it for me! I can't believe that summer is over already!
Have a great week, all!

I'm in the middle of redecorating the house, so I only had time for one card this month. I still have a lot of this gorgeous kit left over, and plan to make more. I used a great sketch from Sktech N' Dies as my inspiration:

And here is my card!

I'm going to enter this card in the latest Sketch N' Dies challenge.
Have a great weekend, all!

Wedding Card

I think this is my first ever wedding card! I have ONE wedding stamp, so I had to design the card around the stamp...

TWO cards, you ask? No, not two cards... Here is the card:

The card was too bulky to fit into the envelope, so I made a card box:

See, it fits in there perfectly:

Thanks for stopping by and hope you are having the great weekend.
USA vs Portugal game is starting... GO USA!

Single Layered Debossed Card

I'm leaning more and more toward single layer cards... they fit in envelopes much better than the fully embellished ones.

I LOVE the debossed technique shared a PTI MIM. I used the Be Happy Stamp set and matching dies from PTI.

Check out this technique HERE.

April Card Kit Reveal!

Welcome to the Club Mojo April card kit reveal! We have 10 ladies in the club this year!!! These are all wonderful ladies who I've had the good fortune to meet at Scrappin' Mojo.

It's time for our Club reveal, and this month's card kit was put together by Kim O! I love the sweet spring-time prints! I had lots to play with. I combined Kim's wonderful kit, with the stamps/embellies that I received from Beth and Terri as prizes from out last online crop.

Here is my first card. It uses paper/embellies from Kim's kit and sequins/stamps from Beth.

This one uses paper from the Kim's kit, vellum/cardstock/acrylic butterflies from Terri, and bling from Beth.

My last card uses paper and embellies from Kim's kit, cardstock/vellum from Terri and sequins from Beth.

That's it for me this month! Be sure to checkout the creations from the other ladies:

Mojo Card Kit Club Reveal

I had the pleasure of putting the card kit together this month. There were three different versions. Everything was the same between them except for the patterned paper (which was all from the same paper line). Here is an example of one of the kits:

Here are my cards. I made all of them during the Mojo online crop:

I made this one for Terri's 3B challenge. It uses a cute image from a designer that Chris's girlfriend, Lita, found for me named Birdie Brown. Unfortunately, Birdie Brown doesn't have her store anymore because I adore her images:

Here is a simple little gift card holder that I made from Beth's Something Challenge. I let the pretty paper speak for itself:

Here is a nice simple guy birthday card that I made for Jan's B&W with a Pop of Color challenge:

Here I played with a Tim Holtz die that I picked up from CHA. This was for Kim's Card Challenge:

This one was made for my sketch challenge:

This is for Jan's Utilizing Project Life ideas on your layout challenge. I used a free project life printable card from this collection:

This card was done for Terri's SPRING Challenge:

This last card is for Beth's Flower Power challenge:
